2010+: Denver?
So, as you may or may not know, I am currently enrolled in Daniel Webster College as an Air Traffic Control student. I started here in January this year on the understanding that I would be done by Spring 2011 (or possibly earlier). Today, that was dashed. How? They added 40(!) credits to my requirements. Yesterday I needed 20 credits, today I need 60 (2 full years for those of you who haven't been in College for a bit...) That puts graduation in Fall 2012, a full year and a half later than anticipated.
On Monday I will meet with my professor and dean to hopefully sort this out, but no idea how this will work out just yet, and I'm not horribly hopeful. Though I do have a couple trump cards (including an email trail of promises and full access to some damn scary lawyers). However, since this is my future career we're talking about here, clearly I do not wish to burn any bridges that I can possibly avoid burning -- and I dislike using the litigation method since it feels so damn childish... but sometimes we have no other choices.
Because, honestly, the other choice is to transfer schools and finish somewhere else, and in this case that "somewhere else" is Denver. 2000 miles from here. I love Denver, but that's a MASSIVE move... not looking forward to that.

How can you not like Denver? He's the last dinosaur? Wait. Did that cartoon exist in your sub-par bacon country?
Changing the requirements like that mid program is crazy. Shouldn't be allowed. They should at least have a phase in period, where new students are on the new program, and need 60 credits, old students on old program can just finish. That's how my university did it when they transitioned the Comp Sci program.
Hope it all ends up well.
Denver! The Last Dinosaur! He's my friend and a whole lot more!
Of course we had that awesome show, it was great. And American! Like hockey.
